Sydney – On the water

There’s a great network of ferries that run between the various bays and waterside districts in Sydney Harbour. And taking one of the ferries is a great way to get a slightly different view of the city and it’s landmarks. The ferry fares are included in the Opal card scheme, making it a relatively cheap way to get around too.

During my recent stay in Sydney I took the ferry from Darling Harbour to the Circular Harbour, the half hour trip on the Manley ferry and a short hop from the Circular Harbour to Balmain. The weather wasn’t great for photos, but here are some of those I shot during my ferry trips.

The short trip from Darling Harbour took us under Sydney Harbour Bridge.
